Topaz Motel Flagler Beach

We stayed a few months ago and liked it so much we’re coming back today with friends and family. Definitely worth the money.

Some of the rooms have ovens which is convenient. Love the private balconies.

I would give it 5 stars but the room we was at the wifi didnt reach to it couldn't watch anything one other then that loved the place pool was nice and my girl loved the shower lol

Traveling with family Gave us a handicap accessible room. Had 4 adults and a 3 year old. The room had a Small fridge and a microwave. Tiled great for coming back sandy from the beach. Older hotel could use a few upgrades but you can't beat the price or the location!

We had read a lot of negative reviews, but there was a couple of good ones. I’m here to settle this once and for all. The rooms are by the main luxurious, but ours was clean and had everything we needed. The biggest takeaways at this hotel is the awesome view, the beach is literally 10 feet away. The second thing is that this is some kind of historical site and you will see that when you get here.

Was down here for bike week, need a room for 1 night .... the positives... this room was half the cost of anywhere within 150 + miles ... its right on the ocean...it was clean ....beds were ok ....there is a restaurant on sight that looked pretty busy so food must be good ....has an outdoor pool ...plenty of parking.... no some things you need to know .... its a motel.... its pretty old ... ..its out dated to say the least .... the rooms are spacious but its still a motel ... the walk in to.get into our rooms on the south side of the building like rooms 100s had 0 lighting and it was very dark .... the office to.check in wld remind you of a scary movie but they were friendly.... so if your looking for a room.to rest for the night at the least amount of $ .... this is your place

The place is great in that the views are amazing, the pool is clean, it’s walkable to restaurants/bars and the check in guys were cool. Main benefit…right across a small street is THE BEACH! It is not however fancy by any means and needs lots of work. Our room was clean tho! The inside original bldg is however very eclectic, antique and almost museum like. Very interesting place and we will be back. Just don’t expect the Hilton because, it’s far from that. Ps, oddly they don’t have blankets, just sheets a some thin satin top sheet thing. Idk

We booked through an online booking site where you select the star rating, and they select the hotel. So, we didn't know about this place before the room was booked. For a $60 a night room, I can't complain much. They don't need a credit card or deposit at check-in. The office is in an old house with a nice pool in front of it. We were on the second floor and beach front with amazing ocean views--the sounds of the Atlantic roaring outside the window were very soothing. The room was fairly clean and didn't smell of anything (no smoke, pet smells, or heavy perfumes). The mini fridge and microwave were both clean and worked as they should. There were extra towels, soaps, and toilet paper in the bathroom, and the toilet seemed new (although the shower ran a steady stream of water all night long). The sheets were clean, and the ac worked well. It came with an ironing board and iron that looked pretty old (but we didn't try to use them). The place does have free wifi that is pretty reliable. The bed isn't the most comfortable, and the pillows were way too small, but the hotel itself was within walking distance of a lot of neat restaurants and amenities. They do not offer breakfast, and the guy working the desk was apologetic when we told him the booking agency said they did. Overall, you get what you pay for, and with the price we paid we got a pretty safe nights stay close to some great fishing.
